About us
A note from the founder
Hello fellow shooters and club managers, I am Konstantinos. For over 20 years, I have built a career in IT, covering the entire spectrum, from system administration to software engineering, cloud infrastructure, and solution architecture. My journey into shooting began when I was searching for a hobby to share with my 10-year-old son. We visited our local shooting range for a test lesson, and I immediately fell in love with the sport. Since then, I have become a dedicated 10-meter air pistol athlete. I train four times a week and take my progression seriously. Well, at least as seriously as a 40-year-old father of two can!
Identifying the Challenge
During my first few months at the range, I observed the immense effort required to run a club smoothly. Managers and coaches were juggling multiple disciplines and unique athlete needs. They worked incredibly hard to balance gun inventories, coordinate range time slots, accommodate busy schedules, manage cancellations, run competitions, and reliably track athlete progress.
Engineering Mouflon
Because my professional life revolves around solving complex technical problems, I started envisioning a system to help. But I didn't just want to build a quick spreadsheet replacement or a clunky hobby app. I wanted to build it right.
That is how Mouflon was born. Mouflon is a comprehensive multi-tenant platform built specifically for ISSF 10m air pistol and air rifle, serving individual competitors and entire clubs alike.
I poured every lesson I've learned from two decades of engineering and solution architecture into this platform. Countless late nights went into its development, driven by an absolute obsession with the details. This care extends from the precise mapping of shot metrics right down to the fluidity of the user interface. Under the hood, Mouflon is built on enterprise-grade best practices for security, scalability, and performance. It is designed to handle the heavy technical lifting invisibly, so that your experience feels effortless.
Built for Real People
When writing the code, I thought about the competitor logging every shot after a long, exhausting session. I thought about the coach trying to spot an analytical trend across a season. I thought about the club administrator just trying to get through their day without fighting their own tools.
Every architectural decision and feature design was made with them in mind. I built this the exact way I would want it built if I were the one depending on it come competition day. My goal was never complicated: I wanted to offer a robust, incredibly stable tool that provides genuine value and solves real operational problems. It is something built with immense care, for a sport and a community that shows up, shot after shot.
My Commitment to You
I will always be happy to hear from you. I personally reply to every message, suggestion, and piece of critique you send my way. My commitment is to maintain a world-class application at a reasonable price, driven by a deep respect for athletes and a pure love for the sport.
Thank you for being part of this journey.
See you at the firing line,
K.
